Powered Lectern
The SL500 is a wide body handcrafted lectern constructed by using the finest hardwoods and veneers. The reading table is wide and deep providing over 400 square-inches of usable surface. A recessed reading light is provided for easy viewing of presentation materials. The classic design and the commanding size makes this lectern ideally suited for boardrooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, large meeting rooms, schools, hospitals, restaurants, etc.
The SL500 cabinet is ruggedly constructed by using mitered tongue and groove joinery panels that are glued and pressure clamped. All solid hardwood and veneers are matched, hand sanded and then stained to highlight the natural grain of the woods. Finally, two hard-coat finishes are hand buffed to a satin, non-glare finish to provide long lasting protection and to bring out the unequaled beauty and distinction of the natural wood. Several models are available in a choice of traditional color finishes that will complement any room decor or architectural style. A rear utility shelf and a locking shelved storage compartment are provided for convenience. Also available is the SLC500 lectern without sound system.
The SL500 sound system has been specifically engineered to provide clean, uniform sound dispersion with amazing power and clarity. Acoustic feedback is virtually eliminated by using a directional sound column, unidirectional microphone and speech filter equalization.
Standard features include a recessed reading light, Tilt and Roll™ casters for easy mobility, vibration isolated unidirectional microphone, 30 watt amplifier with speech filter, two microphone inputs, auxiliary input, tape output and external speaker output.
Among the available options and accessories are a rechargeable battery pack for portable operation, wireless microphone system (handheld or lapel ), extension sound column speaker with floor base and an auxiliary microphone with 15' cable.
The SL500 is offered in the following finishes: natural oak, dark oak, natural walnut, natural cherry, natural mahogany, dark mahogany, red mahogany and black ebony.
